Hi! My name is Snigdha Gopidi and I am a fashion and portrait photographer based in Savannah, Georgia. I have never been one to be able to express myself through words and never had a way to share what I needed to share with the world, until I found photography. Photography started to become a way for me to express myself. It allowed incorporate my love for fashion and makeup to show that everybody is beautiful no matter what the color of their skin is, their background, body type, religion, gender identity, sexuality, etc. As a queer person of color, I am passionate about empowering individuals, addressing social issues and breaking the beauty standard put on women through my photography.We are all unique and beautiful in our own way and I am glad I can capture that through photography. I am also currently pursuing a BFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
